Life and Li[ea]ving

A:"E, how you manage to stay happy everyday?"
e: Its a gift..
A:"Huh?"
e: Its not every moment, well not yet. There are moments when I am not but its not fair to show it to others who doesnt deserve to be infected by the down moment. The secret is the Attitude and Gratitude!
A:"Can you tell me more and how to?"
e: Its a long story will e-mail you, ok.
A:"Ok shall wait."

title: How to Save a Life
artist:The Fray

Lyrics:
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

It is indeed a diabolical relationship - but so that you know, it is "they" that really inspires you secretly and silently, and it is really "they" that makes you the great teacher that you are or will be.

The rest of us are mere peripheries in your life... You change their lives through your interaction in that class everyday that will change their windows to their world, even if a lttle bit. And in the process of changing them and teaching them, it is You who will change.

Your personal friends are your collective obligations, but your students are your personal responsibilities.

So, if the seeds of your investments are good, then they will become good and in turn, you will turn out good too.

This is indeed the life story of teachers...
