Naked As We Came

Naked As We Came
By Iron & Wine

She says "wake up, it's no use pretending"
I'll keep stealing, breathing her.
Birds are leaving over autumn's ending
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open, naked as we came
One will spread our ashes 'round the yard

She says "If I leave before you, darling
Don't you waste me in the ground"
I lay smiling like our sleeping children
One of us will die inside these arms
Eyes wide open, naked as we came
One will spread our ashes round the yard

A dog's life

Running in circles
Chasing my own tale
Relativity
I would End up
Where I Start off
The end in the Beginning
Is the End….

I’m just a memory….
Even if its in just a Ghoose tale….
And I thank you…

It Felt Like Tuesday Today

I was lost Today
But am not disorientated
It such a weird feeling
And I saw it coming
I'm not wearing The sock
But it felt warm like The day
As the evening comes
Today too shall comes to an end
This cycle of the day and night
Taught me what I need to know
To find my Way

I was lost Today
Not that I couldnt find my way
But because I have reached my destination
And I didnt know what else to say...

artist-Alanis Morissette
titlte-Utopia

We'd gather around
All in a room
Fasten our belts
Engage in dialogue
We'd all slow down
Rest without guilt
Not lie without fear
Disagree sans judgement

We would stay and respond and expand and include and allow and forgive and
Enjoy and evolve and discern and inquire and accept and admit and divulge and
Open and reach out and speak up

This is utopia
This is my utopia
This is my ideal my end in sight
Utopia
This is my utopia
This is my nirvana
My ultimate

We'd open our arms
We'd all jump in
We'd all coast down
Into safety nets

We would share and listen and support and welcome be propelled by passion not
Invest in outcomes we would breathe and be charmed and amused by difference
Be gentle and make room for every emotion

This is utopia
This is my utopia
This is my ideal my end in sight
Utopia
This is my utopia
This is my nirvana
My ultimate

We'd provide forums
We'd all speak out
We'd all be heard
We'd all feel seen

We'd rise post-obstacle more defined more grateful we would heal be humbled
And be unstoppable we'd hold close and let go and know when to do which we'd
Release and disarm and stand up and feel safe

This is utopia
This is my utopia
This is my ideal my end in sight
Utopia
This is my utopia
This is my nirvana
My ultimate

A:"Can you tell me more and how to?"

title: How to Save a Life
artist:The Fray

Lyrics:
Step one you say we need to talk
He walks you say sit down it's just a talk
He smiles politely back at you
You stare politely right on through
Some sort of window to your right
As he goes left and you stay right
Between the lines of fear and blame
And you begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Let him know that you know best
Cause after all you do know best
Try to slip past his defense
Without granting innocence
Lay down a list of what is wrong
The things you've told him all along
And pray to God he hears you
And pray to God he hears you

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

As he begins to raise his voice
You lower yours and grant him one last choice
Drive until you lose the road
Or break with the ones you've followed
He will do one of two things
He will admit to everything
Or he'll say he's just not the same
And you'll begin to wonder why you came

Where did I go wrong, I lost a friend
Somewhere along in the bitterness
And I would have stayed up with you all night
Had I known how to save a life

Yaqeen

This word was introduce to me years ago by a good friend. Somehow it hits me and widen my view towards life. Its been haunting me ever since, it has been appearing on and off at different stage of my life. I could only understand the literal meaning (only at superficial level or at least I thought I do) at that time. I couldn’t quite grasp hold of the term fully and couldn’t really embrace the concept. Have been searching ever since and still searching and trying to embrace it. When I thought I had it, suddenly it slips away and I have to rediscover it all over again (or maybe not? Am still learning). I hope and wish that one day I be able to embrace it whole-heartedly, InsyaAllah.

Yaqeen
(یقین) is generally translated as "certainty", and is considered the summit of the many stations by which the path of walaya (sometimes translated as Sainthood) is fully completed. This is the repository of liberating experience in Islam. In relation to the exoteric religious life Certainty is the sister of religious life in its perfection (ehsân), that is to say the adoration of Allah according to the visionary way; through this channel it is the pillar of Islam in the accomplishment of its external practices, as it is the foundation of faith (imân) in its internal dogma. It is in fact ihsân which gives the external religion its true meaning and the domain of faith its real values. Certainty (al-yaqîn), comprises three degrees.

Ilm al-yaqîn (the knowledge of Certainty)

The first degree is referred to by the name ‘ilm al-yaqîn (the knowledge of Certainty), which means that Certainty is the result of knowledge. At this degree the object of Certainty is knowledge just as the aim of knowledge is Certainty. Both together are in the soul uniquely, such that Certainty is the first degree of spiritual life and the last of speculative experience. This particular degree of mystical yaqîn is the result of divine theophanies in Act at the level of existence and also the result of theophanies of lights of nature at the gnostic level.

Ayn al-yaqîn (the Eye of Certainty)

The second degree of yaqîn is what one calls in Sufi terms ayn al-yaqîn (the Eye of Certainty), that is, Certainty as a consequence of contemplation and vision. At this level, the object of Certainty is present in front of the gnostic and is not only a speculative concept. Here knowledge becomes what one calls 'ilm-e-huzuri’’ (Presence of knowledge), and that is the second aspect of Certainty in the spiritual way and in liberating experience. By this kind of knowledge, the man of the Way is distinguished from philosophers and learned men. This particular degree of spiritual Certainty is the result of divine theophanies of Attributes at the level of existence, just as it is the result of theophanies of lights of the intellect at the level of gnosis.

Haqq al-yaqîn (the total reality of Certainty)

Finally, the last degree of yaqîn is called haqq a1-yaqîn (the total reality of Certainty), that is, Certainty as supreme truth. Here, Certainty has a particular coloring: it is the fruit of an all-embracing experience because the object of Certainty is identical to the one who is experiencing it, knowledge being transformed into actual experience and actual experience into knowledge. At this stage, in fact, knowledge is not limited to the intellect, nor to the vision of the one who is contemplating it, it becomes one with the human being. This is the final phase of yaqîn, the apotheosis of the spiritual and intellectual journey. This high degree of Sufi Certainty is the effect of the Emanation of the divine Theophanies in Essence at its existential level and that of the diffusion of the Light of lights (Dazzling Irradiations) at the level of the theophanies of the gnostic.

I'm still smiling

The smile is a veil to the murmuring of the heart and the discourse of the brain. The murmuring and discourse could cause one to be mad...

".... but its hard to stay mad when there so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I seeing it all at once and its too much. My heart fills up like a balloon that about to burst and then I remembered to relax. And stop trying to hold on to it and then it flows through me like rain and I cant feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid life..."

Fragile Wish

You once told me that the events and things that I see and observe is more of a lesson and reminder for myself. In this lesson I learned and reminded again how fragile our life can be. It was a different Tuesday yesterday but its a Tuesday nevertheless, so dim your light turn up the volume and listen to the soothing song of Pink Floyd.

To you my teacher/friend, my sincere and warmest condolence to you.
Nothing go to "waste",Insya Allah...

Title: Wish You Were Here
Artist: Pink Floyd

So, so you think you can tell
Heaven from Hell,
Blue skys from pain.
Can you tell a green field
From a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?

And did they get you to trade
Your heros for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange
A walk on part in the war
For a lead role in a cage?

How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls
Swimming in a fish bowl,
Year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found?
The same old fears.
Wish you were here.

I want to go Home

So, it began with the Valley of Quest
And the journey is already put to the test.
The secrecy that slips away
May lead one astray.

The secrecy that cursed the devils to eternity
Is nothing to His Greatness, which is infinity
Do not be fooled by the glinting of the rocks along the Way
It’s a mirror that could help one to reflect the light or to blind one astray.

Need to set the Quest right
The intention has been set for this flight
A date in the future it shall be
This bird will take on this journey

Now I have to contain the Self.

I want in and I want it...Pray for me, please...

This thing called Love

Title - Love… thy will be done
Artist- Martika

Love… Thy Will Be Done
I can no longer hide
I can no longer run

No longer can I resist Your guiding light
That gives me the power to keep up the fight

Love… Thy Will Be Done

Since I have found You my life has just begun
And I see all of Your creations as one perfect complex
No one less beautiful or more special than the next
We are all blessed and so wise to accept

Thy Will Love Be Done
Love… Thy Will Be Mine

And make me strive for the glorious and divine
I could not be more satisfied
Even when there’s no peace outside my window there’s peace inside
And that’s why I no longer run

Love… Thy Will Be Done

The man with the heart of Ros and the enemy

Had a long and very good conversation with a good friend last night. We talk about work, art, life and other friends. We also talk about being misunderstood. Sometimes we meant well but maybe our words are kind of harsh or our action may seems otherwise. I ran out of words to sum up last night conversation but if there is a soundtrack for last night this will be it...
Title: Out Of My Head
Artist(Band): Fastball

Sometimes I feel
Like I am drunk behind the wheel
The wheel of possibility
However it may roll
Give it a spin
See if you can somehow factor in
You know there's always more than one way
To say exactly what you mean to say

Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an indication
It was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
So quiet but I finally woke up
If you're sad then its time you spoke up too

Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an indication
It was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
So quiet but I finally woke up
If you're sad then its time you spoke up too

Was I out of my head? Was I out of my mind?
How could I have ever been so blind?
I was waiting for an invitation
It was hard to find
Don't matter what I say only what I do
I never mean to do bad things to you
So quiet but I finally woke up
If you're sad
Then its time you spoke up
Too

Reflection

The thing we see is more for us to ponder and reflect about the self.
You'll know what I mean, my friends...

Title: Outside
Group:Stained

And you
Bring me to my knees
Again
All the times
That I could beg you please
In vain
All the times
That I felt insecure
For you
But I leave
My burdens at the door

But I'm on the outside
And I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside your ugly
Your ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

All the times
That I felt like this won't end
Was for you
And I taste
What I could never have
It's from you
All the times
That I've tried
My intentions
Full of pride
But I waste
More time than anyone

But I'm on the outside
And I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside your ugly
Your ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

All the times
That I've cried
All this wasted
It's all inside
And I feel
All this pain
Stuffed it down
It's back again
And I lie
Here in bed
All alone
I can't mend
But I feel
Tomorrow wil be OK

But I'm on the outside
And I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside your ugly
Your ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

Spoonman

My dear friend, Ghoose put up an entry in his blog on Chris Cornell one of my fav artist. It is just that coincidentally there is this particular song in my mind after talking to some friends last night. Couldn't help it but to put up an entry on Chris Cornell, "Sunshower". Its ost "The Great Expectations", one of my fav movie too, featuring the artworks by Franceso Clementé and directed by Alfonso Cuarón (a very good combo). To a particular friend "It’s all right... I know all your graces. Someday will flower, In the sweet sunshower"

Title:Sunshower
Artist: Chris Cornell

Dark as roses, fine as sand
Feel your healing and your sting again
I hear you laughing and my soul is saved
On forgotten graves you cry

Crawl like ivy up my spine
Through my nerves and into my eyes
Cuts like anguish
Or recollections of better days gone by

But it’s all right
When you’re caught in pain
And you feel the rain come down
It’s all right
When you find your way
Then you see it disappear
It’s all right
Though your garden’s grey
I know all your graces
Someday will flower
In the sweet sunshower

Eyes like oceans so far away
A feather trail to a better way
Worried mornings turn into days
Then into worried nights

But it’s all right
When you’re all in pain
And you feel the rain come down
Oh it’s all right
When you find your way
Then you see it disappear
Oh it’s all right
Though your garden’s grey
I know all your graces
Someday will flower
Oh in the sweet sunshower
Oh in the sweet sunshower
In the sweet sunshower

I know all your graces
Someday will flower
In the sweet sunshower
And it’s all right
All you’ll be you are today
Are today
It’s all right
All you’ll be you are today
Are today.........

Fragments of enemy.

There is a point in my life, which happened not so long ago, that I am tired of telling people what I do for a living. The reaction from most people is the same. Upon hearing that I am an artist the answer followed by ‘that is interesting…” and then “ so what you really do?” then later on “Oh! Wow” or alternatively “Cool!”. I felt embarrassed by the reaction, I usually downplayed the whole thing by saying, “It is no big deal. Its just a job like any others.”

Why such reaction? Well back then my idea of being an artist is just about the self. Hence that is why I felt embarrass, how could I be so selfish. Compared to a doctor or a teacher my contribution is nothing. The statement that I wrote on my sketchbook back then summarise it all, “I never doubt my creativity and ability, but I do doubt my functionality in the society…”

It wasn’t always like this. When I started to embark on the journey, back then I was proud being an artist, in fact too overtly proud, yes to that extend. Its damaging to the self. The ego is soaring high, so high that it does not knows its limit. Metaphorically its like the ego soared so high that I was suffocating and gasping for air. Then gravity pulled me and asked “who do you think you are?” The ego landed but it wasn’t a smooth landing. I have to learn the hard way. Ouch!

Anyway going back to the point in my life that was mentioned at the start, from embarrassment it leads to fear. Fear that I have to fight the ego all over again and its just a monster waiting for the moment to ‘be’. Let me explained this embarrassment starts off with me trying to be humble and somehow it leads to fear that if put to a test I might lose it all.

Until recently a blog about Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Steven) and evening while sitting under the “big umbrella” with my teacher and friends help me to realise. Being an artist is a big deal because it’s a God given talent. He could choose anyone but He decide to choose me to be one. I believe He gave me success in my early day as a reward for my hard work then, and also as a test for me so that I can see the bigger picture. It is to prepare me for my future. Its not a question ‘why me’ but its more to ‘what I choose to do with it”. Its just a fragment of the enemy but this will do for a start. Give me some times, a year perhaps, am in the process of making…

Thank You, you, you, you and those who are not you or me.

Love your
enemy

100 years

“When doomsday comes, if someone has a palm shoot in his hand, he should plant it,” Prophet Muhammad (saw).

Dont give up, there is still hope. Until the end of time.

Title: 100 Years
Artist: Five For Fighting

I'm 15 for a moment
Caught in between 10 and 20
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are

I'm 22 for a moment
She feels better than ever
And we're on fire
Making our way back from Mars

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to lose
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

I'm 33 for a moment
Still the man, but you see I'm a they
A kid on the way
A family on my mind

I'm 45 for a moment
The sea is high
And I'm heading into a crisis
Chasing the years of my life

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy, Time to lose yourself
Within a morning star
15 I'm all right with you
15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

Half time goes by
Suddenly you’re wise
Another blink of an eye
67 is gone
The sun is getting high
We're moving on...

I'm 99 for a moment
Dying for just another moment
And I'm just dreaming
Counting the ways to where you are
15 there's still time for you
22 I feel her too
33 you’re on your way
Every day's a new day...

15 there's still time for you
Time to buy and time to choose
Hey 15, there's never a wish better than this
When you only got 100 years to live

Leave a Mark

Each breath,
Each jerk,
Each move,
Each dot,
Each stroke,
Each line,
Each squiggle,
Each splash of colour,
On the canvas,
Create a mark.
No matter how big or small
It still a mark nevertheless...

Something Better in Return

Should heartache enter your mind and ambush your joy,
yet it prepares the way for happiness.

Quickly it sweeps all others out of the house
so that joy may come to you from the Source of Good.

It shakes the yellow leaves from the branch of the
heart, so that fresh leaves may grow continuously.

It pulls up the root of old happiness
so that a new ecstasy may stroll in from Yonder.

Heartache pulls up withered and crooked roots
so that no root may remain concealed.

Though heartache may extract many things from the
heart, in truth, it will bring something better in return.

About Last Night

To Those Friends who were there at the railway station last night!
We in the same train, in a way!
Can you hear me sigh?
And smiling....

Artist: Embrace
Album: Out Of Nothing
Title: Gravity

Honey
It's been a long time coming
And I can't stop now
Such a long time running
And I can't stop now
Do you hear my heart beating?
Can you hear the sound?
Cos I can't help thinking
And I don't look down...

And then I looked up at the sun and I could see
Oh the way that gravity turns for you and me
And then I looked up at the sky and saw the sun
And the way that gravity pulls on everyone
On everyone...

Baby its been a long time waiting
Such a long long time
And I can't stop smiling
No I can't stop now
Do you hear my heart beating?
Oh can you hear that sound?
Cos I can't help crying
And I won't look down...

And then I looked up at the sun and I could see
Oh the way that gravity turns on you and me
And then I looked up at the sun and saw the sky
And the way that gravity pulls on you and I
On you and I

The Heart Of The Matter

Its sit inside the darkest place
Drowned in the blood
Entangled with the wired veins
Caged by the ribs
Wrapped by the skin
Heard only when its not in tune
Seen only when its not working
Such a lonely place and feeling
This heart is just looking for a companion
To beat harmoniously together
Working towards life
And celebrating its glory
Yet it didn’t screams out loud
But murmurs gently
So what is wrong with me?

“Assurance whispers in the heart’s dark core”. (Attar)

Steady

Just as I thought its safe
To get up
Brush off the dirt
And walk away....
My legs wobbled
I fell and have to start
All over again!

Fall (Evening with Zero Zero)

Its contagious my friend
And the sleepless night too
The Bottle of Happiness that we bought
Make us drunk with thoughts
That is further away from this world
Compared to the half-moon we seen last night
We talk about the 13 Oceans
And the Legend that Falls
About the bird that wake you in the morning
To the Bird that invite you to Tuesday evening
We pondered about Life long learning
Only to realise it start from within
We examined the Body of Friends we have
The meddler, the critics, the self-absorbed...
But conclude that we Love Them All The Same
We speak about being creative
Then come out with the word "Inspirator"
Creatively define as the person who inspired others
How high can we get from that bottle of happiness
We confessed about the Dreams
The one denied and realised
We discussed about the matter of the heart
As well as the Season
We shared a cab back
but left the Door ajar...

Am having a hang over the day after
Maybe we'll write a book about it some day
Same time tomorrow!

Tuesday

Am feeling very sentimental towards the people around me for the past few weeks. Just look at my last few entries and you might be able to understand. Am reflecting what are the purpose and the reason for them to be with me and how significant are they to me. This entry is no difference, was reading Tuesday with Morrie, and came across a beautiful quote by Henry Adams. The quote reminds me of someone, who introduce me to Bon Jovi song, “Thank You For Loving Me.” Its just another song by the New Jersey rock group to some of you, but to me its something else. It’s a song that reminds me to be more appreciative and also teach me the manner to close the “doors that were left ajar.”

To You (you know who you are)… “A Teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops." Henry Adams

Ode to Ghoose

From a distance
You keep watching over him
Like a farther to a son

Your deep and
Distraught thoughts
Echoes into the Enemy’s heart

The assurance you offer
Is more for yourself, O’ Ghoose
What do you have to lose?

A friend along the Way
He is in a better company
Than you and me

We have lost many friends
Mostly for the wrong reasons
Its time to make it right

Let him be
Wherever, whatever, however
He wants to be

Pray for him
Hope that he will find
What he looking for

Hope that he wont get lost
Along the Way
Until He is unrecognisable to himself

Pray to He
He who decide the path for him, you and me
That one-day we will understand the plan.

Wise Up

Its been a while seen the last post. I have been busy with assessing and then being assessed myself. Therefore, the lesson is not only for the students but also for the teacher. Just pondering about being assess its tough to be judge by human. Most of the time, the expectation seems to be the sky high and too much for a fellow being. It shows little consideration for mitigation circumstances. Yes, at times, I am guilty of this too, need to learn to be more reasonable and be more compassion.

“One who shows mercy to the merciless
Brings mercy close to Godlike blessedness;
The oceans of God’s grace is infinitive –
Our sins are like a tear dissolved in it”

Happy Birthday Mum!

SHE by Elvis Costello.

She
May be the face I can't forget.
A trace of pleasure or regret
May be my treasure or the price I have to pay.
She may be the song that summer sings.
May be the chill that autumn brings.
May be a hundred different things
Within the measure of a day.

She
May be the beauty or the beast.
May be the famine or the feast.
May turn each day into a heaven or a hell.
She may be the mirror of my dreams.
A smile reflected in a stream
She may not be what she may seem
Inside her shell

She who always seems so happy in a crowd.
Whose eyes can be so private and so proud
No one's allowed to see them when they cry.
She may be the love that cannot hope to last
May come to me from shadows of the past.
That I remember till the day I die

She
May be the reason I survive
The why and wherefore I'm alive
The one I'll care for through the rough and rainy years
Me I'll take her laughter and her tears
And make them all my souvenirs
For where she goes I've got to be
The meaning of my life is

She, she, she

A Walk To Remember

I was reading the hoope blog, about the movie 'A Walk To Remember". I saw the movie years ago and quite enjoy it. Anyway the movie set me thinking about the 'small' miracles like, to be able to breathe, to feel, to see and so on. How we tend to take this things for granted and at times we even abuse this gifts. At the end of the end of his post the hoope asked-

"Another thing that sets me thinking: how would I live the remaining of my life if I knew that I was suffering from leukemia and will soon expire to the next world? Would I have attained the state of "tranquility" to embrace that blessing? Or as Jamie said when she told Landon of her sickness: "I don't want to find a reason to blame God".
How would you live your life, if you knew?"

How would I live my life, If I knew I'm going soon? I thought of this before, I'll drop off everything, without mentioning it to anyone and will travel from place to place. I'll stay at a place to work for a few weeks enough to bring me to another place. I'll make my way to mecca (Like another fav movie Le' Grand Voyage) come back only to my homeland about a few months before the due time. Whether I outlive the due time or not, doesnt really matter anymore.....it will come sooner or later. Alhamdulillah.

The Farewell Sermon

Muhammad led the Pilgrims from Makkah through the Valley of Mina and up to the Mountain of Arafat and then stopped them in the Valley of Uranah. They stood in front of him silently as he sat on his camel and delivered this sermon. With a crowd of over 120,000 pilgrims, his voice could not reach out to all those who were present. He therefore asked Rab'ah Ibn Umayya Ibn Khalaf, who was known to have a loud voice, to repeat the sermon after him, sentence by sentence so that everyone could hear. The sermon is as follows:

After praising, and thanking God, he said:

"O People,
Lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present here today."

“O People,
Just as you regard this month, this day, this city as sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your Lord, and that He will indeed reckon your deeds. Allah has forbidden you to take usury (interest, Arabic: Riba); therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity.”

“Allah has Judged that there shall be no usury (interest) and that all interest due to Abbas Ibn Abd al Muttalib (the Prophet's uncle) shall henceforth be waived.”

“Beware of Satan for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.”

“O People,
It is true that you have certain rights in regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives, only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.”

“O People,
Listen to me in earnest, worship Allah, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.”

“All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black, nor a black has any superiority over a white - except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim, which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not therefore, do injustice to yourselves.”

“Remember one day you will appear before Allah and answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.”

“O People,
No prophet or apostle will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O people, and understand words which I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Quran and the Sunnah, and if you follow these you will never go astray. All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listened to me directly. Be my witness, O Allah, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

As part of this sermon, the Prophet recited them a Revelation from God which he had just received:

“This day the disbelievers despair of prevailing against your religion, so fear them not, but fear Me (God)! This day have I perfected for you your religion and fulfilled My favor unto you, and it hath been My good pleasure to choose Islam for you as your religion (5:3).”

Toward the end of his sermon, Muhammad asked "O people, have I faithfully delivered unto you my message?" A powerful murmur of assent "O God, yes!", arose from thousands of pilgrims and the vibrant words "Allahumma na’m" rolled like thunder throughout the valley. Muhammad raised his forefinger and said: "Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people."

*Yesterday was our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) birthday. As for me the best way to remember him is not how he started but how he end, which is actually the beginning for us.

There's Something In The Way You look At Me

I got angry today due to a certain politic.
I didnt really express my anger to anyone
But I felt angry nevertheless.
I dont think I offended anyone unless
Keeping one silent can be offensive, in that case I apologise.
I dont even want to elaborate on the matter of the politic
However if you really know me well, you'll undertsand
Why I make a big fuss about getting angry
I was really angry that at the end of the day
I end up starring into space thinking
Not about the politic but about me being angry
I know its ok and once in a while people will get angry
But there's something about me being angry on that day
It saddened me that I became angry just now
After the night prayer I cried while asking from Him for peace and tranquility
Somehow I feel much better after that Alhamdulillah!
Its all part of His master plan Alhamdulillah!

Victory comes with patience, relief comes with hardship, and ease comes with difficulty. Prophet Mohammad (Pbuh)

Breathe Easy

Each and every breath
Bring me closer to death
It is inevitable
So why ignore it
I’ll try to embrace it fully
As every moment
Could be my last
Looking forward to the last day of mine
Its not that life is not worth living
Or a case of tired of this life
For whatever its worth
To be with the One I love
The Creator of mankind and everything else
To have that peace and tranquility
For eternity is priceless
Life is not measured by the breaths we take
But by the moments that take our breath
Subahana-Allah

*Was not feeling well for the past couple of days, Alhamdulilah.

Silent Night!

The mute scream in the
Dark,
Gloomy,
Cold,
Lonely,
Night.
Piercing through the
Clear,
Thin,
Air.
Not a soul
Will care
Thought of the.
Breath is
Louder,
Clearer.
But how many are
Aware
Anybody
Care?
